Marble polishing is done using multiple products and procedures depending on the stone; this process gives the marble its luster. Tylos are aware that marble surface always needs to be totally cleaned; we remove all traces of dirt, grit, waxes and sealers before polishing. After polishing, Tylos will do buffing to remove residue and even out the glow.

Polishing and buffing are finishing processes for smoothing a work piece's surface using an abrasive and a work wheel. In Tylos, polishing has been traditionally done manually. We believe that it is as much an art as a science wherein with great skill required in selection of abrasive medium, work speeds, and applying the right force in the right direction, we will achieve the required uniform finish.

Floor Restoration

At restoration services Tylos believe that a professionally treated and maintained floor is a fist impression that can truly last. Our team specified a range of floor surface using unique systems that not only clean and polish but restore the luster of the marble to a mirror shine.

In Tylos, we use diamond abrasives for floor restoration. It is the most durable polishing method. This method involves grinding the floor with commercial grade diamond abrasive pads. Successively finer pads are used to bringing out a mirror like shine.

Floor Crystallization

Tylos are aware that Crystallization creates micro film on the surface of marble, which is more solid and durable and helps to preserve the color and the brightness of the marble.
